Magazine London a venue with over 3,000 square metres is one of London’s largest purpose-built hybrid spaces, with an outdoor space overlooking the city skyline for a capacity of up to 7,000 people.
Magazine London had a client that was keen to use the outdoor space, creating another dynamic to their corporate event in October. The client wanted to utilise the outdoor space by incorporating a stretch tent for their guests to use during their event.
Solution
WH Silverbacks were asked to come up with a whole package solution including the stretch tent as well as furniture and decoration that would sit within their budget. We installed a 15 x 20m chino stretch tent, which we secured using covered weights as you are not able to stake the tent to the ground at Magazine London. We then dressed the stretch tent with festoon lighting around the perimeter and internally, also adding floral hanging decorations through the centre. With one of our partner companies we also provided wooden picnic benches throughout.
This event has quite a tight install with a day prior and an evening to de-rig but with a good team raring to go we got it all out and packed away in a few hours.
